where in south florida are you?

i hear jets so you're near an airport runway flight path, and i see the hurricane wind damage to the norfolk pines in the background over the roof of your house.

i'm guessing you're in south east ft. lauderdale a little west of ft. ld. intl. airport?

interesting story... from studying and stopping parts of your videos there a re alot of things that look like the car has way more than 38 miles on it.

i'm in west palm if i can be of help.

jim

Wow that looks pretty dam clean! even has the cosmoline splashed around.
Thanks for the pics!...do gonna post the front trunk area? especially around the fuse box?

One thing though...the rotor hats are painted gray? I thought they came bare metal?

Oh Ya...That jack placement gave me a pucker moment.

Porsche coated metal items to prevent rust and such during shipping.
It's the brown looking stuff on the spring plates and some on the exhaust.

I would never jack on the engine...some people do for a quick up and down though.
You have jacking points right in front of both rear tires

Nope not one of the better places to jack up this car

I prefer to use one of the factory lifting points. Usually with a piece of wood between the car and the jack. If you don't want to scratch your original lifting pad; I would just get or make another one.

That sump plate is just stamped sheet metal. There is a stainless screen inside there that I believe is nla.

This forum is your best first tool. I suggest before you do anything at all. Come here and do a search first. There is a lot of good information available to help prevent making a mistake.
