What's that box on the right side of the wheel, between the air vent and stereo? Don't tell me that's an EQ!?

I remember when you could buy those new for around $800 from Crutchfield in 1977.
I think it was called the Blaupunkt Bamberg Electronic with the gooseneck. It was the top of the line radio and they were still made in Germany. At the same time the excellent and more powerful Blaupunkt in dash AM FM autoreverse cassette radio was made in Japan. This one was a real 7watts per channel RMS and that was alot back then. At that time only the underdash Craig Powerplay AM FM cassette was more powerful with 10 or 12 watts per channel RMS. |

hey Pete! Good to hear from you, been awhile.
I think they're NLA - you'd have to go to a graphics company and have them made ($$$$$). I know there is a factory option code for them tho, as you could apparently order them ala carte (so says the Martini's owner). Dunno I agree w/ you tho on your Marine car (one of my fave colors as I've shared w/ you!). I think the blue / purple in the striping would either clash or look kinda lost. Just my opinion. Hope yer schwell me friend!

I am fabricating a couple of sets of these side stripes later this week. The stripes are based on the first 935/76 before the boxed rear end was used. I only wish the factory offered something closer to what the race cars were wearing at the time.
I think I'll skip the "Ladies Man" interior...now back to my Covaseeayye. ![]() |

This car looks the real deal and is super rare, many have copied this theme. I can see from the seats and other small details this is one of the SOW cars and Z options were created at the wish of discerning customers for an agreed price $$$$$. I often wonder to myself just how many of these special wishes were made and are still out there....
