I hope it's just the white balance is way off on these pics... and the color is actually grey or black and not what is displayed.

They look like good seats.

The seats are black. I took the picture in a dimly lit garage at night. Can't use the built in flash because my 12-24mm lens will cast a big shadow. I lit the interior with a small lamp (using a compact flourescent bulb). Probably had the white balance set to auto but it still = crappy color.

Have been toying with the idea of replacing my standard pole positions with either leather ones or the Sportster CSs... those look great. How's the quality of the vinyl? Roughly how expensive were they?

the seats are very high quality. i doubt if i could tell the difference between the vinyl and real leather. they smell different, yes, but everything that spends anytime in a 911, smells like a 911 (my wife always knows when I have been spending time with the mistress - she smells the Eau de 911 on me).

roughly how expensive...i try to forget this stuff...roughly 3 grand for the pair, brand new, including the sliders needed to mount them in the car. Maybe the prices are lower now - they were the newest/latest/greatest model when I bought them.

no regrets. they look great, and work great, and have harness pass throughs that are correctly positioned for my body size
