Who makes this spoiler?
Can anyone point me to who might carry this front spoiler for a 965?
I've found them for a 964, but no luck for a 965! Thanks ![]() |

964T#304,
Are you saying MA Shaw because you have seen this unit available from them, or just because they sell fiberglass products? This model is not being shown in their catalog. Thanks SC |

I got a fiberglass part from better bodies that was such garbage I ended up throwing it away since the guy conveniently only takes cash. It arrived damaged and cracked, but it would not have fit anyway.
You should look at the Getty catalog and also GT racing catalog to see if they might have it. The GT and Getty parts are much much lighter than the horrible heavy mexican fiberglass that better bodies uses. It is almost like some kind of horsehair plaster they use. You will easily save another 5 or 8 pounds using GT racing parts, for instance. |

Getty is the industry leader for quality parts on a street car, GT Racing parts tend to be ultralight weight for street/track. If you want to save the extra couple pounds, GT Racing. If you want a perfect street paint job and a slightly sturdier street part like say front fenders that need strength to fend off rocks and chips, go with Getty. Ma Shaw re-sells many Getty parts and about half of GT Racing parts come from Getty (usually the black parts in their catalog are Getty and the white parts are GT Racing in-house stuff). Some people have gotten certain body kits from Better Bodies that were okay, these tend to be stuff that Better Bodies re-sells from Strosek or other tuners. I however have two Better Bodies parts which they made which were both garbage and I used one (with a TON of prep labor) and threw the other part out because that guy armando makes sure to never give your money back. He sure is a sweet talker however. Let me also put a big shout out to TRE Motorsports. David makes some of his own parts which are very high quality and he will also stock some Getty parts. He uses the best of Getty and the best of his own, so any part you get from TRE will be top quality. Everybody should know that TRE Motorsports is good people. They have tons of cool pictures at their site. I used the RSR front bumper (not the IROC style but the one with the lip along the bottom) from GT Racing and I used the Getty rear bumper. The Getty part I got is extremely well made but definitely heavier than the GT part. Again, the Getty part is built very very solid and the GT part is solid yet light and more track oriented. The Better Bodies part went straight into the trash as it arrived damaged and did not fit. |

DDDD- any pics of the RSR stuff on your car? My car is mostly a street car so i would sway towards the Getty stuff for durability. It's gotta weigh less than the factory piece with all the rubber crap hanging off it.
