I don't know if any of you are remotely interested in meeting up at PBIR one Wed or Fri night for their T&T at the drag strip. Would be mostly a place to gather and if anyone (me) gets a wild hair to run their car (me) down the track it could make for an interesting evening. I've done some performance mods to my car and like getting solid numbers to show me if i'm going in the right direction.

damn, i am all kinds of hijacking this thread... sorry

Looks good except it might burn that neat towel-lined license plate holder....

Ronnie were close! do small kids cry when you drive by?
I see you had to etch the valence also to get the fit!

. . . not only do they cry, they run to their mommas !!! Actually, this is not too loud as it is the Zork "look-alike" . . . let me tell you, though, the unmuffled wastegate pipe sends chills up the spine going pinned under an overpass etc !!!!!

Yep, notched the valence (an uncut one I bought from Brian) and I also made an aluminum spacer to go between the large and small pipes, and then clamped them together with ss hose clamps . . . I could not keep them from moving around, and thus coming miss-aligned, otherwise.

This pic of your car, which I saw for the first time over two years ago, was what motivated me to go with Brian's center mount setup - definitely NOT a look you see every day !! I suppose I should thank you for helping me spend more money !!!!

Ronnie

Cl8ton has a zork and 934 WG pipe while Ron has a center out muffler and 934 WG pipe. I designed them that way so you have sound level options.
The center out muffler will accordion up under the bumper or extend down below the bumper, or anywhere in-between as Ron has it. The 934 pipe is anchored by a tab that fits on the lower turbo stud. If the turbo is a v-band there is no stud so another method must be used.

Ronnie this is the setup I have...the red circle is where I put the T-Clamp in place to prevent movement.
After a hard drive I would notice the WG pipe in a vertical upwards position afterwards...the T-Clamp (second pic) completely solved it!

A wave washer on the turbo stud will also help secure the pipe.

Maybe a different Ron in Dallas? The one I was thinking of purchased this system a year or so ago. Lots of systems in the Dallas area.

Asked this in a previous post Brian! Advice on this bolt (Zork + 934 WG)

Have no problems today (post T-Clamp) and love the exhaust system!

Hello Brian - you're thinking of the "right" Ron (You and I have emailed back and forth many times with regard to your exhaust, and other things as well, - you have been a tremedous source of tech advise/support and I appreciate it greatly)!!!

I love your system and have no complaints . . . I'm just one of those hyper-anal types when it comes to fit and such and ALWAYS end up "modding" or tweaking aftermarket parts (often OEM parts, too) to suit me . . . again, no complaints !!!!

Ron

Does anybody have any audio evidence (YouTube link) of how they sound?

Having a Euro (non-Cat) system, I doubt there'd be quite such the step up in performance that you guys are seeing but I'd guess there would be some.

Think I'd be most interested in a more stream-lined (non-spaghetti) set of headers

My baseline testing is done with a Euro exhaust system (no CAT). The difference is huge.

Here are a couple videos:
