3.6 NA to 3.6 turbo: milling off piston dome?

I have seen this mentioned in a few threads. How much needs to be taken off of the top of the piston to get to a 8:1 or less compression ratio?

Thanks

I am not a big engine guy, but I am sure other will chime in. Pistons do not always have enough material left in the pistons top to effectively lower the CR down that low. Good news is you could have a set of pistons made that fit your cylinders and save money by using the 993 cylinders. Jim
