Thanks to both spence and Brian for the great advice. This will help get me on the way.
P.s. Spence, I'm not lacking in the $ dept, i'm just cheap! There will be no mods done that would sacrifice reliability or jeapordize the overall quality. Thanks for looking out though. I know these engines are very expensive to rebuild, i'm ok with that. That would be done first class. (actually looking forward to it one day!)

If money really is a huge concern on this project I think you might be taking something on that you can't afford... Remember your car is going to be putting out a lot more power and weaknesses will come to light, stock rear torsion bars struggle with the power and need upgrading, standard carrera brakes aren't the greatest, the rubber center clutch will s#it itself quicker, engine wear will be increased and it's first rebuild will come around faster, all expensive factors to consider...
Good idea. The 60-1's were a popular upgrade for the 3.3T's about 6 years ago. Extended performance and efficiency over the factory K27's. Turbonetic's had a BB option and it was easy to change out hot sides when tuning. Also, Koklen I belive used these with there owne hot side casting for there turbos.
