5 TH Gear QS

I'm looking for the specs of the gear ratio for the G50 gear box stock to see what mph can be reached from the stock box, then I'd like to know what gear ratio I should have to for 5 th gear for top speeds and lastly how much they are, can I buy them used ? Who has them ?

Look for a 5th gear set from a 50 or 52 turbo box, great for top end.

You might want to start with a goal MPH.

For reference, what was the top speed of the RUF Yellow-bird assuming it was pulling around 550hp and was also a narrow body thought it had some drag improvements.

Then get with someone that has a gear ratio calculator and come up with what gear ratio you need.

Do you know what your MPH would be with your existing gears at your red line?

Great Suggestions

I be happy reaching 190 mph, I have to look to see what MPH yellow-bird top end was, and then I need to find the someone to help me with the calculations
I know I have run 142MPH on the 1/4 mile at the end of 4 th gear at 7800rpm if thats of any help

I have a gear chart for a late 915 that Bill V. did for me. It looks like on my car 7500rpm is good for about 170mph.
