Garrett GT4082 turbo question

A friend of mine said he had a GT4088R he would sell me for very little $$$. It is new, unused. Anyway I checked it out and it isn't a 4088. It is a GT4082. I tried (not real hard though) to find a map for this turbo and didn't find one. I was just curious what a 3.3 would do with this. The A/R is .58 which seems like I would lose some efficiency at the top end. Honestly without a map to lay it out on, It is hard to say for sure. Anyone want to map it out for me? Mainly I am just curious as it could be had for $500. I was tempted to just buy it and resell it but I don't want to do that to my friend. It was a spare for his non-Porsche racecar and he has since gone in another direction with his setup.

thats a biggg turbo. if your efi and looking for 600-700 hp it seems like a good choice. if your 1 bar and CIS, it seems like turbo lag.

EFI: check

It is for a race car but not sure a 4082 will work.

if its a track car and you stay at 4k and up, then I think it would work well.

It's good for roughly 500-550HP. Stock 300HP 930 flows around 33lb/sec worth of air. This one would start boosting around 3700 RPM (my educated guess). It's more efficient than 3DLZ but you would ideally need to boost 1 bar or more to keep it in most efficient region.

That is what it seemed like to me.
