Don't forget to add shipping, about $5K at the border, inspection, speedo fix if its broken, tinted window removal, Lux. tax for the AC etc.... can add up quick to 6-8K extra, where are you, got my stock 87 930 local in Vancouver 15 month ago and paid less than that. that looks to fugly IMO, look around there are some good deals.

+1 looking for a more proper 930.

$35k should get you a well developed 930 w name brand and sorted EFI conversion if performance is your goal.

This is a buyer's market.

If you do buy it, you will have a very difficult time selling it should that later be your decision.

Just my two cents worth.

I am glad you guys all chimed in because I didn't want to be the first guy to tell him the yellow car is mostly a POS. I was thinking maybe the seller is asking $25K for it, but $35K....don't even give the car a second look. It ain't worth pursuing further.

Rusty showed you some of the deals out there and Cowtown has a deal too.

You do not need a 6-700 hp porsche. Seriously, 400 hp is plenty if done right. You are asking for trouble in buying a 930 with 600 hp. Mostly likely a money pit that doesn't run right, and most likely only has 400+hp anyway, just claims 600hp on some dyno sheet with race fuel at unsafe boost levels.

This yellow car has been for sale locally in the NYC metro area on craigslist for a while now. I've been seeing it pop up every so often over the past few months. The text in the ads I've seen with this car don't sound like the seller knows much about 930s..."the WILDEST, BADDEST, FASTEST Porsche turbo EVARRR!!!!!!!"

That makes me very nervous about this one.

An enthusiast who knows his machine will write an ad that describes all the love and care that went into building the car. Check out Cowtown's car in the classified section of this site and you'll see what I'm talking about.
