Turbo/intercooler upgrade

I looking to upgrade my stock turbo and intercooler this off season on my 82 930. I am most likely going with the k27 7200 for the turbo and would like to roll with the Kokeln Intercooler. Does anyone know where I can purchase the Kokeln IC or any suggestions.

You can buy the Kokeln here; http://www.kokeln.com/index.php; brand new for close to $2K.

Or... you can keep you eyes peeled for one in the classifieds or on eBay. One recently sold on there for $950.

I was watching that one on ebay too. Auction ended yesterday

It was a good deal with all the other parts you need.

I actually already got a B&B... but I figured I'd buy the Kokeln and compare... then just sell the one that I didn't choose to use.

Yep, I took it to $850 and stopped and watched for awhile.... then decided that that money was better spent on other things. There will be others.

I picked up the B&B for $800. It is a very nice piece, and I think well worth the money. However, I haven't seen any real data indicating if one was better than the other. I was hoping to have both in hand and perhaps test them. At the very least, I could have filled each up with water to determine which has better volume.

The Kokeln is quite a bit bigger than a B&B or Garretson/Andial so it seems it would be more effective and flow higher CFM.

I think you have to remove the rear wiper motor to fit it in.

Call JR at Chris's German Auto in Bellevue WA 425-462-9296. He also has a 3.2 intake manifold as well.
