I've been reading your forum for quite a while ! just purchased an 87 930 black on black!!!!! I've learned so much from all of you so decided to take the plunge with some confidence. Its more fun than a barrel of monkeys..:)

OK, now you're cooking! Great looking car. Now for your next task, a list of all the non-stock goodies and details would be nice. I see aftermarket exhaust, steering wheel, larger intercooler, some sort of gauge in the ashtray position...what else is lurking in the background?

what's the "red switch" looking device on the top/inside of the PS door?

Looks like a Clifford alarm LED to me.

There is no accounting for some people's mounting skills. :rolleyes: A little hole like that will trash a panel quicker than a blink of the eye.

There is no way of knowing when this shoddy install was done but someone could have used a 1989 clear pop-up door lock knob that has the alarm in it and done a much better job,, and not cut the door like that. It is was it is.

Good afternoon all ! Its has few goodies, hks electronic boost controller,thats the thing in place of the ash tray.The p.o. had it mounted to the bottom of the ash tray,it rattled like crazy..And I kept hitting it when doing "spirited shifting" also performance headers,I think its b&b, the muffler I don't know what it is but I don't like it .so I'm going to build my own setup.oh! k29 turbo. The cooler , well I don't know what brand that is either.

Good lookin car , maybe the po could tell you what brand the items that you are not sure about are( IC, Exhaust,etc) Welcome aboard, now let the mods begin!!!!:D

I removed 35lbs of alarm, telephone, and poorly installed stereo from Cristine when I got her. All that aftermarket alarm is trouble waiting to happen. Nice Turbo, and welcome.

Looks like the same setup on my 86 turbo with B&B headers/muffler/intercooler and the K29. What about cams? Stock, SC, or 964?
