I Like the look, but how bright are the lights? You don't want anyone hitting the rear end cuz they didn't see them.

My car is barely legal too, but man those lenses are asking for an easy ticket, straightaway.

I like the look. You used to be able to buy something similar that was legal, at least here in CO, called "Night Shades". Came in an aerosol can just like any other spray paint... had it on a few other cars back in the day.

Either way, like the look for sure, and was thinking of something similar for my black 930.

Your ride is wicked.

We have blacked out lenses for cars since were kids. Justifiable FT now, hopefully PT. Know can get them to look good for a while. I was thinking of a couple of ways to revive my efforts using a Porsche. Thanks for ruining it for me. How am I going to be able to now that have raised all logical concerns. How may I gain assurances it would be legal before drive it one the street .

Thumbs up

Looks great! Now you have to change the Porsche Badge for one of the black powdercoated ones, I got one from EBay ( I think some store called Sierra Madre Collection) and the thing looks wicked!!!

Incredible, incredible car... what it must be like to have one of your guys living in the neighborhood? People look at me driving by in my car, and I'm in a plain '90 C2.

I just finished a simple mirror mod. that (I think) would look perfect on your car...
Flag mirrors gone - welcome Vitaloni Sebring Mach 1 Mirror - Pelican Parts Technical BBS

Regarding "blacked-out" lenses, I've also recently experimented with back tail light vinyl. It's 93% transparent, easy to remove and looks great. Also serves as extra protection against stones and road debris.

Experimenting on my car:
Picasa Web Albums - Udo - lights out

Here are couple quick PhotoChops of the mirrors on your car... the black vinyl (93%) would look good on the lights below the bumper... good rock protection!
