blacked out lenses

I Like the look, but how bright are the lights? You don't want anyone hitting the rear end cuz they didn't see them.

i had it out last night, you would be suprised how bright the brakelights are, now the front blinkers are DArK you really cant see during the day but at night its all good, thank you for the concern i especially dont want anyone f*ckin up my kremer wing!! ill post pics tomorrow night, its 2 a.m. my neighbors would sh*it if i took her outa the shop right now LOL

I like the look. You used to be able to buy something similar that was legal, at least here in CO, called "Night Shades". Came in an aerosol can just like any other spray paint... had it on a few other cars back in the day.

Either way, like the look for sure, and was thinking of something similar for my black 930.

We have blacked out lenses for cars since were kids. Justifiable FT now, hopefully PT. Know can get them to look good for a while. I was thinking of a couple of ways to revive my efforts using a Porsche. Thanks for ruining it for me. How am I going to be able to now that have raised all logical concerns. How may I gain assurances it would be legal before drive it one the street .

AWSOME thought "zork you too" LOL friday night if my wife and i can get a babysitter shes gonna follow me on rt 385 with a video cam, im gonna do a 40-50 mph to about 150 blast in front of her, she drives a benz so shes gonna get dusted, but it should be a good flic, lots o flames wait till you guys see how that 3.5 twin plug w/ the kkk29 hybrid that Chris Carrol over at turbokraft built makes this car launch, lemme just put it to ya this way, im sorry i dont remember the diamiter of my hollow sway away torsion bars but after the new engine build i had to re-align and corner balance because she squats so hard i rubbed holes in my flares!!! good thing ive got adjustable spring plates re-keying torsion bars sucks!! so the guys over at Protec porsche set her up NASTY more to come, keep your fingers crossed for me that i can get a babysitter!

Looks great! Now you have to change the Porsche Badge for one of the black powdercoated ones, I got one from EBay ( I think some store called Sierra Madre Collection) and the thing looks wicked!!!

Incredible, incredible car... what it must be like to have one of your guys living in the neighborhood? People look at me driving by in my car, and I'm in a plain '90 C2.

I just finished a simple mirror mod. that (I think) would look perfect on your car...

Regarding "blacked-out" lenses, I've also recently experimented with back tail light vinyl. It's 93% transparent, easy to remove and looks great. Also serves as extra protection against stones and road debris.
