good idea on the filter!

Side note: do you have any pics laying around of how you supported/mounted the GT35r? I'm think I'll have to fab something up cuz I don;t think I will be able to use the original turbo mounting bracket due to the GT35r's 3" vband for hot side outlet vs old bolt up style on the oem mount.

+1 Specialy if you will be tracking the car, will greatly extend turbo life

no track time here Wax, otherwise I'd be compelled to run something through the water jacket

Easiest way we've found:

We made 25, and maybe 3 fit correctly without modification because everyone's headers fit slightly differently, turbine flanges different thicknesses, turbine housings different thicknesses...

It's just a piece of thick steel strap with a 10mm hole in each end and bent about 60-deg. We usually use some stainless about 3/4"wide, about 1/8 - 3/16" thick. Really easy to make one when you mount the turbocharger, and get rid of that factory hanger. You're just trying to stabilize the turbocharger and headers as the car bumps and bounces down the road. It's also supported by the muffler and its bracket & strap.

How do you have yours set up?
It all dedends where are you discharging the oil,if you use the sump can for both,( oil lube for bearings and cooling jackets) then you probbly overwhelm the capacity of the scavenge pump, so you will probably will need to restrict the oil to the jacket, it all depends in other factors like the turbo pump oil scavange capacity and type of main oil pump,(EG gt3 pump,930 pump,etc).,cheers.

Agreed, I'm just gonna leave those coolant ports open to the air and try to keep the turbo cool & lubed by spraying oil on the brgs.

Thanks!
