check out Davtron. I bought one from them over 16 years ago, still works great.

I use spare channels on my Adaptronic ECU to track both temps and pressures. Basic Bosch temp sensors on both sides.

An exhaust gas temp (EGT) gauge is a good idea to.

It monitors the accumulated effect of the Inter-Cooler efficiency, load, the motors thermal reserve, turbo's efficiency, and Air Fuel Ratios.

The andial gauge is the same as the Davtron gauge only I bet it has a big price markup for the andial name on it Thanks to both of you for the suggestions the gauge and it is sold at aircraft spruceand also would fit beautifully where the ashtray would go. I would like to see others if possible like a analog cross sweeping typeI have seen but cant seem to find on the internet.

Megasquirt has channels on the ecu also I believe to track temps. I am looking for 1 gauge with an in and out.

The main reason I want to do this is to see if my intercooler is as effcient as claimed it is much smaller than the monsters you guys run but when I bought it many years ago Marty told me it was much more effcient than the stock intercooler. It will work fine for now as I like the way the install turned out for looks although the overall eff. probably took a hit since I didn't use gentle bends in the plumbing that is something I will take care of that later. What is the typical temp. drop across a intercooler?

Ok guys,
I get head temp., exhaust temp, & AFR's......but seriously.... intercooler temp is getting dangerously close to geekdom.

GSMITH660- check out my EFI post. I did some temp recording with no intercooler vs intercooler. At 1 bar your average K27 should be putting out roughly 200*.

I need one of these (intercooler in/out temp) gages as I plan to try out different intercoolers. Who has the best unit / price?

At full-chat on the dyno and on the track I get a consistent 37* C at the inlet manifolds. Ambient temps of 30* C. 0.8 bar supercharged boost.

My intercooler is a Bell 3.5" core with a shrouded twin-puller fan underneath.

Having permenant gauges is cool but if you are just looking to benchmark the intercooler then you could do it as simply as logging both temps on Megasquirt and checking the difference. Not quite a scientific but close would be to do two back-to-back runs first with teh thermometer before the intercooler and another after.

I am going to run a temp sensor down in my heat wrap to see what temps my O2 sensor is seeing and then outside the wrap.

ok, well you should be seeing well under 100*f at full boost with .5 bar. What does your intake air temp show?

Dont know I haven't setup a gauge on this yet. Are you talking about in megatune? I dont think I have a sensor set up for this either.

I am using both spare channels on my Megasquirt to monitor 2 of... fuel pressure, any 1 of 6 EGT or pre-intercooler temp at any given logging sessions. But I really need 6 more channels
