Nice looking car.

Those look like BBS wheels though, not Fikse.

$37K might be a high in this market.

Get a PPI before any purchase and not one the seller uses.

Oh, and plan on learning to work on it yourself. These things are not that complicated ( ok don't open my CIS thread),, but seriously you'll be amazed at what you can do yourself

Back to your question, I'm fairly new to Tampa and so far have used Vortex Motorsports for my 930 (Hillsborough Ave), only that for fairly routine stuff, so I am not to judge when it comes to big repair stuff. I do plan to have them put a front oil cooler, so I'll let you know how it goes.

Both Alex Job racing and JB Racing are in Talavares, FL. Although I dont know if they work on customers cars, as both are more of a race shop, they should be able to point you in the right direction. As far as JB Racing, I would trust those guys with my car and my life... a great bunch of folks!!

thank you very much for the recommendations. I am still hunting for the right 930. seems the one i posted is no longer on autotraders site(may be sold). I was hoping to get one for less than 30 K anyway but that one "seemed" to have had all the right stuff done to it already......
If anyone knows of a good one that becomes available please post up and let me know!

Unfortunately, there are alot of them out there right now pretty cheap.. I suggest you get one that hasn't had alot of stuff done to it.. Highly modded cars tend to be driven hard (at least by this group ;-).. finding a good car under 30k should be easy

is there anything to worry about with the 930 turbo 3.0 liter motors. They make less power but as far as reliability and ability to up the displacement/power to around 400hp?

Excellent Performance/Repair shop in Clw, Florida

One of the best shops in the Central Florida area would be Eibell Performance, Inc. Specializing in Porsche, Frank Eibell has a sterling reputation as a guru in boosted 930's. Their shop is always full of street and race cars, excellent place to have an inspection performed. Frank has been in business specializing in Porsche for over 30 years, knows just what to look for, pretty much seen it all. Fair prices, quality work , done right the first time.

awesome! Thank you very much!!
Now all I need is a 930!!!
saw a 1976 3.0 liter turbo that looks pristine in and out but I assume no intercooler on those.... Should I stay away from 3.0 liter non intercooled 930s??
