Mine were16" wheels, but everything I've read says the wheels are not servicable and/or parts are not available. The racing barrels don't interchange with them either.

I could be wrong, but...

you can actually use 16" centers and use 17" barrels

These guys can do it with new barrels: Mirage International
Check this thread: Need outer lip for BBS RS 014, 16"

I'll be doing the same, just waiting for my tires go bad..

Don't believe the stuff you read about the RS not being serviceable, they recondition these wheels in Germany often, just check on ebay.de a few nice brand new condition sets on auction and found this guy who rebuilds them in Germany: @Domain

On the rim barrels check out Bob Woodman Tire (google it) I have 1977 magnesium 20 bolt BBS centers that I just put 17" rim halves on to get a more modern tire on there (315/35/17 front).

Also, you can't beat ol' Harvey Weidman for refinishing/restoring.

Another vote for Woodman's.

Gabriel, nice Dragon shot!

Didn't realize you were utilizing those wheel centers/lips. Those look like the centers that show up on a lot of the 962s, that are sporting BBS mesh wheels. I was thinking, for some reason, they were also E50s like on the '76...

They look the part, regardless!

The rears are the e50 19" rim halves restored by Harvey Weidman, one even has the KREMER stamp on the outer, I had to go 17" fronts to get tires to fit the 11" widths but the rears were fine :

Rears are 345/35/19 on a 14" wide rear section.
