BBS RS VS BBS Le Mans?

Hello Boys

Got this set of BBS RS. What is the difference between BBS RS and BBS Le Mans?

Is one more rare?

I think the RS is an aluminum center street wheel and the Le Mans is a magnesium center race wheel but not sure.

Funny there was a set for sale like this in France a few days ago (advertised on "leboncoin"), is it where you picked it up?

That's a good looking wheel. Had them on my 911SC years ago.

Too bad they don't come in 17 or 18's.

A friend from Pleasanton CA, got the wheels for me. It's 15" (front 9" and back 11") The rims is very nice and not a spot on them.

Best regards
Jesper

Anyone know of a link where I can find more info on the evolution of BBS RS's?

I'm running an early 1-piece set of Mahle 7 & 8 x 15"s and would like to know more about them....(year, material, etc)

Thanks!

I got a set of BBS Rs80s for sale (16" x 9, 8" I believe...), I just really feel the need to go 17" and 5 spoke- I really hate cleaning the bbs even if they look good

Good luck getting tires to fit those. (Ask me how I know...)

You might be able to find a pair of 225's or 245's that will work on the 9's but the 11's, meh, street tires are unobtanium.

I have a new pair of *new* 285/40/15 Yok's that'll fit those 11's that I'll let go for $1,500. If you're interested, please PM and I can give you the backstory.

I have Yokohama A1-40i 285/40 ZR 15 on the rear 11" rims, they fit very well, thanks.

Best regards

Well then, take good care of them. That's probably the last set you'll ever see. They're NLA and have been for some time.

Holy moly! No manufacturer was making tires in that size anywhere in the world for quite some time. Are you sure they have some in stock or can get them special order and its not just an old listing? I worked with Yok for quite a while on this and they said no tires not now not ever no way, so if they're available in Ger now, that's super. I'll take two

It would be even better if there was a matching tire being made that fits the front 9" wide wheels.

Thanks for the link!
