930 KKK Turbo on eBay
 

Not a turbo owner, but I saw this KKK turbocharger ending soon on eBay. It's at $100 with about a day left. I'm assuming that's a pretty good price.

It's the bone stock 3LDZ turbo that came as original equipment from the factory and doesn't get you anything in terms of additional performance. These are pretty easy to find as people upgrade to the K27 turbo and its variants.

The only reason I keep my old 3LDZ on the shelf is to please that eventual buyer that absolutely must have a stock 930.....should I ever lose my mind and consider selling my car. Guaranteed a $2000 bump in the cars selling price when returned to the stock turbo ;) (well, if you believe that, I've got a stock CAT and muffler to sell you..and I'll throw in the air pump for free).

Actually, I think I'll convert my 3LDZ to an electrically motor driven unit. Those are all over eBay, claiming a whopping .3 bar. Wow, maybe put it on my lawnmower and do some wheelies next time I mow (oh....$hit, forgot....can't do no more stinkin' wheelies per my broken foot). In the words of The Eagles, I guess I'm too fast to live, too young to die.

I think I sold the last couple of 3LDZ/K26s I had for between $25 and $50. But I have a short attention span...

I have a least half a dozen 3LDZ turbos on the old parts shelf. Great door stops.

You could turn them into cool desk lamps for someones office! Maybe even figure a way to make it spin nice and slow when the light is on.

+1 on the door stop, mine is sitting next to the back door to my garrage for that very purpose!

Too heavy to make furniture with.
I'd like to find a little plastic toy turbo, remove the hot side, put a little 3LDZ sticker on it and give it to the kids' hermit crab for a home.
