Thierry,

Good work and great info.

So what do you think? Are larger injectors a valid path for us to more fuel?

Seems the replacement injectors for the 3.3 and 3.6 are the same part number now.
K

Dear Keith

Sorry but you didn't read correctly , the 3.3 and 3.6 injectors are different part number . ( You can check on the PET)

3.3 T injectors are bosch 0437 502 017 / Porsche 931 110 225 00
3.6T injectors are Bosch 0437 502 057 / Porsche 964 110 235 20

3.6T injectors are flowing about 8% more fuel compare to the 3.3T injectors.

The 1st and easiest way to get more fuel is to up grade the fuel pump !!

Thierry's picture reminds me of what I just went through with the injectors on my car. If you bend those lines they will not go back to the correct orientation which will interfere with properly seating the male end. I am sure this is why I had 3 leaking injector lines when I put it all back together. As you all know it is very hard to see that junction when the engine is all back together and you can have a leaker and never know it. Potentially dangerous situation. I have 2 CIS setups in my shop right now that have been through an engine fire.

Hello dear Brian:)

Actually , I own a second set of injectors fuel lines. ( I've got it together with the 3.6T injectors) So I used this 2nd set to make all the tests ! . Thus I kept my original injector fuel lines on my car without any bending, moving or whatever which could have damaged it.

You are 100 right, it is potentially dangerous to run a car with some fuel leaking !!!!

Again, great info.

8% more fuel compares to a 3.6 being about 8.5% larger than a 3.3.

The 3.6 ran 32mm intake ports just like the 3.3. Probably so they could just use the 3.3 manifold.

Great info from Thierry, again ;-)
