Show me pics of your tt 930 exhaust

Show me your pictures of your 930 with twin turbos. I'm trying to get ideas on how to build my exhaust system. Has anybody used 993 heat exchangers?

I have a medium built 3.4 twin turbo ( near 500 HP @ 1.0 bar ) that the intake / exhaust systems were set up by Jarvis ( highly regarded FL tuner) and they used the 993 header set up. I would think it solves lots of problems if you are not looking to build for ultimate track car performance.

The 993 is not so bad for DE's or moderate track use either... Good suggestion.

You read my mind as that is what that set up will be used for ( if I ever get it finished). We did it that way so whoever gets it ( after I play with it a little) and drives DE or vintage will not have to rebuild after every 80 hours or so.

What color one do you have to swap? The Porsche racer I got it from said it was from a real one. Could be true as it is very old with a smaller air intake insert installed well after the rest of it was built. Has a black Kevlar horizontal wing which is also well aged although still race presentable. Or better still get the whole chassis as I would then get the IMSA chassis currently on Ebay that is currently being discussed on this forum "track car". I just want something to put my running gear into, not compete in the PCA or Vintage classes, as that would take less time to complete.

This is an old thread but may be of value to you. I started it when first learning how to go about twin turbocharging the boxer 6.

Note the turbo's and mounted a little up and drain into the chain housing.

Makes valve adjustments a lot easier than with hanging them on the sides though the header volume is increased this way.

Starting with a set of RarlyL8's NA short tube SS equal length headers would work well.

Sorry for my late reply.
The turbos are TD 04/ 12 with integral wastegates. This is a modern turbo.
made by Mitsubishi. And they works super.

Hans, is this the 2.8 or 3.0 motor?

Are you running the oil feed lines to the turbos from the cam lines?

More pix please!

Hi J.
This is the full magnesium 2,8 engine,
You are correct. the oil feed line is coming from the cam supply. Just keep it simple.

DPHANS,
Thanks for the photos. Additional injectors (2) feeding into the throttle body?

I think he's using a 928 fuel head with the two left-over injectors being used for enrichment.

Simply brilliant. Garage hot-rodding at it's finest.
