turbo and exhaust , what are these worth ?

Hi all, I have a B&B exhaust ..I think that's the correct brand. And I also have a K29 turbo that I would like to sell, but I have no idea what they're worth.I would greatly appreciate everyone's input.I do need to tell you the turbo needs rebuilding because it leaks oil out of the compressor side intermittingly..Not looking to make killing, just whats fair.

I'd say 200~300... really, whatever you can get for it...

What about a picture of the one you built?

What can you tell us about the K29 v GT performance?

The K29's are a great turbo for making HP but at the expanse of lag as most are built an a larger hot side.

The k29 comes on later than the gt35, Right now I have a fuel issue,it goes way rich too early so it makes the engine bog down. The afr is in the high 9'S TO low 10'S.I'm sending my wur to BL and I"m getting an rpm switch and solinoid to cure this. When I get this sorted I can be more accurate with my description of the performance differance.I think top end power will be similar, midrange will be improved.

I picked up 34 hp going to the Garrett T35 and more fuel flow capacity set up now has AFR's 11.9-12.1 @ 13.8 PSI steady from 4500 to redline. The dyno results show that maxium boost (13.8 was not acheved until 4200RPM). I suspect this corresonds with the cams grind. I do not know where the K29 boosted from but it seemed to be full at about the same RPM, just started dropping boost over 6000. Now no problems with Garrett. I had oil seals installed in the k29 ( slight seepage on cold side) and installed into another 930 with less internal mods and it holds 1.0 bar boost all the way to redline and seems to pull well from over 3500 as the cams are not as hot of a grind although both are high RPM grinds. Oh, on the original price question, I'd say the muffler could get $300 and the turbo will cost around $150 for seals so $400+ for it if it is otherwise OK. I have some spare stuff so I do not really need it but i can never say no to neat stuff that I will most likely use some day. PM a price once you feel comfortable with a figure.

On the turbo reseal I'm just now getting one back from Durobuilt for a similar oil leak problem. I did have one resealed for $150 which is in a car as mentioned in my first responce. However Durobuilt says I got lucky as they should be rebuilt with a complete rebuild kit and fully rebalanced. The price for this is close to $600. So my first guesstimate of what the turbo that needs rebuild might be worth, may be a bit high.

I just sent my K29 to Ultimate Motorwerks and a rebuild is $475.

Have you got any Dyno charts from your 930. Would like to compare to a similar build. There is an "ultimate Dyno" thread here where you could post it.

Thnaks

No dyno charts yet. The motor has been out for a year and was ready to go when the turbo seal let loose.
