As you say, it has been republished my Mercian Manuals and is available from them.
Indeed, Porsche had the same problem with the 959 when it came out. But this time, they didn't write a book for the customers - they gave them some portfolios of photos of the car. You can find these on eBay from time to time - one of the more rare 959 items to collect.

Karl signed my EWE first edition, a great Christmas gift long ago...thanks again Dad! It is a prized book in my Porsche literature collection. Now I will have to keep an eye out for the turbo tribute.

There was one listed here on Pelican a few hours ago. It only lasted 15-20 minutes.

Karl,
Do you ever make public appearances? I would love to get my copy signed?
I'm in Southern California.

Mr. Porsche (karlcars)

I just pick up (about 5 hours ago) a copy of the book because a Porsche friends who bought a Turbo last summer will turn 50 this year.

I'm hoping this is your signature on the dedication page and may shed some light on the recipient.

Regards

J.J.

JJ,

It looks like that book was dedicated to Mr. Ludvigsen by Ferry Porsche.

I wonder how it ended up in Canada?!

... be kidding.

I bought from Peter from this site (Seattle), got it this afternoon and came across this thread by luck.

It could be forge (or was printed like this) as this is a 2001 reprint.

I'll PM Mr Ludvigsen for insight.

Cheers

If it's the '01 reprint they were probably all printed like that.
