My good buddy just picked up a really sweet 78 930 with an after market intercooler, and twin plug ignition. Having never driven a Porsche let alone a turbo he asked me to drive it home for him. What a friend! We did however have a discussion with another friend about the twin plug situation. Can anyone tell me if the twin plug was stock for 1978 930's or if it was an option or possibly later upgrade. My guess is that it is an upgrade.
Thanks

Definitely not stock. Is it running an RSR type distributor or distributorless ignition?

As soon as my buddy makes it home to San Diego, I'll have him get some pics to me. Also 12 wire distributor and as I recall "Electro-----something" dual ignition (serving as the coil?)
