What was your first question....."Have you been running those cams, turbo and exhaust with 1.0bar and the stock intercooler? And if so, for how long?" I know that would have been mine. It looks nice for the money though

That certainly would have scared me away as well. Anyone (especially the guys on this board) who has taken car of thier car, will imediately offer all maint. records, almost like merit badges

Maintenance records mean nothing if a car has been road hard and put away wet on a regular basis. A long talk and seat time with the owner goes much further.

I saw this one also but the background in the pictures was inappropriate.
Like others here it read like this guy would say anything to sell it. Had the car been local so I could get a really good look I may have been more interested. I just looked at it as a high miles car (100K) probably needing a very expensive motor rebuild therefore add $10K.

I asked on service records as the add said original miles. I don't use shops on my cars so I realize cars can be nicely maintained DIY.

yes, I understand you dont need to show receipts to prove maint. What I was trying to say was that those who do maintain their vehicles properly are quick to tell the new potential owner about it, not ignore the question as was done to a few of you.

Door jams look messed up (or that could be tree debris...which isn't great either), interior looks like it's a mess...sounds like a buyer could be the dose of Excedrin he's been looking for.
