930 track HP max thermal limit?

I know we can make a huge amount of HP on of a 930.

I am wondering how far we should consider going up the HP path for a 930 used mostly for Drivers Education or track events.

Per Bruce Anderson's book on modifying Porsche's for the 930's he kind of sets 400fwhp as the limit. That beyond that there is not enough thermal reserve (or fuel but we know better) and ware rates increase quickly after that.

It seems the heads might be the weak spot.

Anyone consistently pushing more than that on the track?

Is there anything we should look at doing to push things other than a big oil cooler up front?

He recommends changing the cooling fan to one with a pulley for more favorable cooling.

Would a 500whp 930 live for long on the track?

How far should or can we go?

Water injection would help lowering CHT and exhaust temps (longer life for guides too)

It's a bit strange to see it's not much used in these engines? It makes a huge difference in my 2.7 V6 with 9.1 compression and 1.5bar boost. Timing stays at about 15 BTD at torque peek!
