17" Wheels

Has anyone installed the Rota Fox wheels on a 930? If so, do you have to use spacers and if so what size? Also, what tire sizes do you think works/looks the best?

Thanks for any advice--Roger B.

I put them on my 79 930 with the stock spacers. 275/40 in the back, 225/45 in the front. The quality control was not very good regarding finish and runout.

Was there anything you did to get the run out fixed and what was wrong with the finish?

what size wheels are these? I thought they were for the NA 911 only (offset).

On a 930 or Widebody the offsets are wrong you would HAVE to run spacers (I am not sure what "stock spacers" are)

17x7.5/9 Linea Corse Fox - (5x130/e35/e16/73.1hb)

For fitment on my wide body with 930 trailing arms I would need
25mm spacers front and
15mm spacers rear

Exchanged for another set, and they had runout issues, too.

Stock spacers are the ones that came on early 930s with floating rotors. I think the 82+ do not need the spacers because of the 1 piece rotors. I believe the spacers were front 21 mm and rear 26 mm.

Don't waste your money and put something on the car that is worse than stock. Spend your money wisely and get some Zuffenhaus wheels or some Fiske that will lighten the car or at least plus size to a high standard.
