I was wondering the same thing about this thread. I've changed the inter cooler on mine to a 965 style and noticed a big change in performance . The change was more on the consistency side of performance because of heat soak I believe . But this is something I would love to explore with some data to back up , so if anyone had a opinion on this like to hear it please.
