Not sure what the value of that trancaxle is but I would like to mention my experience with Farmer's shop.

About 2 years ago I was looking for some inexpensive 18" wheels and that shop advertised 4 origonal 996TT solid spoke wheels for sale in excellent condition with center caps.
I called and the person that answered said they were in perfect condition with no scratches or curb rash at all.

I bought them for 1100 shipped, I have the receipt.
They came to me with completely worn out Michelin tires and alot of little scratches on the spokes and edges and all of them had deep consecutive gouges on the spokes around the convex hub center most likely from the wrong thickness adaptor/spacer placed under the big wingnut that holds the wheel onto a tire balancing machine's spindle and some small gouges on the edges, and cheap tacky looking plastic Racing Dynamics snap in center caps

So I don't trust them at all because they flat out lied to me.

I have done no additional damage to them and now I want to sell them but I would be lucky to get half what I paid for them because I won't lie about the cosmetic condition they're in.

Farmer

My personal experience with Farmer was all positive. I had complete 930 engine and transaxle refurbished, have put 2000 miles on both with no issues and great performance and felt the price was as estimated and fair. I would not hesitate to return for his services if I were in need.

Well I hope their work is better than their word.. or integrity relating to my experience.

And, 2000 miles on a motor or transaxle is not enough time to make a final judgement on the quality of the work done.
