I've got my event this weekend too, will post up my results. Here's the list of runners for our event VMAX Armageddon Attendees List - Please update
Notice the CTR3, can't wait to see that run!! There's also a 9ff 1100+bhp car too, that should be interesting!! Good luck and keep it shiny side up ;D

Oh, can you remind me what tire pressures you recommend, i've forgotten
Some cool rides on that list. I see Matteo of the blue RSR fame is driving his GT40. I would rather see what that 9meister motor that he dropped in the RSR would do.

Good luck Jon!!! Can't wait to see what your beastie runs!

I would have liked to have seen that too, but it's out of action with a leaky fuel tank and a cracked wheel. I saw it the other week, lovely looking car in the flesh!

Mine isn't at it's best, since the rebuild the fueling is off, luckily it's running rich and not lean, but i haven't had time to get it remapped. I've sent off a pair of K24's to Kevin at UMW for him to build me some zero clearance K24/26 RS spec blowers, then i'm hoping to get the car over to Germany and get RS Tuning to give me a proper map! So i'm just living with it the way it is for the time being. This VMax is just for fun, i'll be keeping an eye on everything with a Bosch Hammer, if it's way too rich i'll just park up and watch the others, by the next event i should have it running right.....Looking forward to that

I'll get some footage of the event and post it, taking a decent HD video camera along

sweet, she's running good now. turns out I had adjusted the AE wrong causing the injector PW to jump around. Fixed that today, got my built in boost controller working and a full tank of E85. I'll be leaving Boca around 8am, then turnpike south.

anyone wanting to meet up give me a shout 561.436.2359

AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!! That car is awesome! That's a great speed for you too Juan, congrats!
I only managed a poor 184mph But looking forward to the bigger turbos and will do better next time!

Some news from our event, there was a 1000hp 997 cab from 9ff that did 222mph. And the 9ff GTR went through the beams at around the same 220+ then lost control and smashed into the earth bank at the end of the runway, very sad sight......

Jon, great job bro, 184 is nothing to sneeze at!

Your car looks great coming across the line!

That CTR3 is truly stunning... i saw one at the RUF factory last year in Red, but the triple black scheme is incredible. BTW, what did it run??

Victory was ours.

Sure it was a ford but Johnny ran a 700hp porsche cabrio for many years and still has a love for the marque.

I'm not too upset, the car was running pig rich and only boosting to 0.8bar, in the whole scheme of things i did OK, it'll do a lot better next time!

It was quite a slow day for most, the CTR3 was under 200, can't remember exactly what Leon said, think it was 198? He hasn't posted his speed up on the list yet. He mentioned that he has a new gearbox being built, as the stock one is simply too long for tracks and short runs like this, it's built for Autobahns

Toby was expecting a little above 200 with his 650bhp RS Tuning 997GT2, but only managed 197. A very good bench mark is the Feza 599, the exact same car with same driver posted 199mph last time but only managed 193 this time. (that would put me at about 190ish)
It's a bit of a trade off with the conditions, cold air helps power, but it's denser which means more resistance at high speed. It was around 5-degC today, it would be much better for high speed runs in the 20's.
Had a great day though, LOVE going quickly....I was in Matteo's GT40 at 200ish, and Toby's as around 195, i'll post a vid soon

I don't know who you are BUT if you are from that camp my hats off that was a huge effort and a well deserved win. I know those guys work their tails off and having a wizard of Nos is a huge help.

Again Congratulations...

Congrats to Juan & Ruiz for running those incredible times & keep it up! There was a Ford GT40 with Wizard of NOS system that ran an incredible +250Mph (faster than boost logic Supra 246 Mph record).

I also had a great time with 1st time with the underdog street Mini Cooper S R53 1bar doing 140Mph & our street BMW black 135i w/just a PAW .8bar flash did 156Mph.
