Aftermarket Airbox repair

I bought a used aftermarket airbox from a fellow pelican a while back. Getting ready to put it to use, but it needs some repair. The airbox is made from a rigid plastic in 2 halves, upper and lower. The halves have separated and need to be reconnected and sealed. There is a decent lip to mate the halves together, so sealing shouldn't be too difficult with a thick adhesive/sealant. Look ing for recommendations on what sealant/adhesive to use. PO used RTV in a spot. I am thinking JB weld. Thoughts?

Thanks,
Maxx

Bevel the edges and use the plastic repair kit from eastwood I used it on my mirror on my blazer and that stuff is strong.

Thanks. Found the Eastwood kit online. Do you know if any brick and mortars sell it (auto shops, home improvement, etc.)?

No I think I have only seen it from them but you might try a hobby lobby or someplace like that.
