Turbo oil supply line repair.
I have this factory line off a 930 and the metal tube part was somehow damaged in shipping and has bent and cracked. Can this be repaired?
Welded? Splice a piece of rubber hose and clamp both ends? Thanks

I am a new owner of the 930 but here`s my 2 cents.
There`s a fairly long hardline there as most hoses can`t take the heat the turbo produces under hard driving. I would get a new pipe to be sure there`s no leak. The turbo is working under high RPMs and the turbo will be broken before you`d know you have a leak in a "saving money" repair. Then you might be looking at more repairs if the turbo parts get into the engine. As i said, not a 930 specialist but i would get a new pipe to be sure, or give it to a very good welder ![]() |

When I upgraded my turbo, part of the kit was a braided ss line that replaced the hard line. Just be sure you have fittings available for both ends.

Maybe, but if you are looking for a nice used one, let me know. I have one I don't need.
