Emergency Bake work needed in Bangor
I'm traveling up route 95 and had to stop in bangor because I've got terrible scraping and broken metal in rear wheel. Somthing in brakes I believe. Where can I bring my car to get repairs to Brembo brakes on my 911 turbo.
Will be trying to get them looked at first thing in morning. Today is April 26. Any suggestions !! |
Before anyone says it Not looking for A bake shop I need a Brake shop!
|
not a stone or foreign object jammed in caliper???
|
I don't know about Bangor but Foreign Intrique is in S. Maine if you can limp to the Boston Area there are a ton of Pelicans that would help. Probably just a pad let loose from it's backing plate.. (hopefully). I suggest you get it to a Midas or anywhere you can get it on a lift.
PM me in the morning if you don't get any help |
could also be the tensioner spring on the emergency brake pad. Mine let loose and scared the hell out of me with the same noise...

Hello All,
All hell broke loose in emergency brake. A few parts rattling around in drum. Had to get transported to shop. Was lucky to find porsche mechanic at Darlings ford/VW/Audi in Bangor who got me on road within a couple hours. Great shop very helpful ! |
Glad to hear you got it back on the road. That's the kind of stuff that makes you nervous. :)
