Anyone installed KEP clutch Kit in 930?

Hi,

Just received KEP stage 1 clutch kit, and are in the process of installing.

What I noticed is that the diameter of the center of the pressure plate is larger than the stock Bosh Pressure Plate.
This means that the throw out bearing that comes in the kit, which is same size as original, will not stay in position into the pressure plate.

Should not the throw out bearing click into the center of the pressure plate and stay without falling out?

Anyone have any experience with this?

I think mine was loose actually too....when you bolt the pressure plate down and "spring" the pressure plate it tightened up. Try bolting the PP on the flywheel (not at full torque) and see if the TOB snugs up.

Helmet us right. Once you snug the PP down, the spring fingers will hold the TIB in place.

Good luck mating the trans to the engine and don't forget to install the clutch fork on the TOB ears properly!

Totle, I just sent you a PM and totally forgot about how the diameter of the opening in the PP closes down once you snug it all up. It should be the right diameter to match up with your TOB once all is tightend down.
