wheels

Hello Everyone, A question regarding wheels.Did the 930 1979 and up have the option for a 9 inch fuch wheel from the factory.If I want a 9inch wheel are there any good repos or is factory stock the best ?

79 930s came with 8" wheels. I believe 9" came on 86+. Factory Fuchs are forged and are still available brand new. Replicas are usually cast aluminum.

245/45-16 on 9's 225/50-16 on 8's...I run 255/40-16 or 245's on 8's. BTW John, Where u been hiding???

Hey Pete Its been a long winter so really just lurking on the site.My fender is being fixed this week and I am installing a new clutch capable helper springs and pedal box bushings getting ready for this fall.

Factory said 9's are supposed to be shod with 245/45/16, but that's increasingly hard to find. As in I don't know if anyone is making that size right now. That seems to change every few months. Right now if I had to get tires for a 9" rim, I'd go for 265 sizing, which I think Kumho makes (Ecsta XS?).
