Axles -930 trans end/81 SC wheel end?

I have a set of axles from a 81 SC that had a 930 engine and trans in. The wheel end of the axle is one piece. Does anyone know if this will work in my 81 930 or are these axles only good for an SC with a 930 trans.

There must be an axle guru on here somewhere.
If they won't work in my new car I will sell them to someone installing a 930 trans in an SC.
Used for 2 months and paid $1200 canadian when new....offers?

930 CV joints are the same on each end. They bolt on to the flanges at the stub axle and the transmission.

I think the Carrera's used the non bolt on outer CV like the one in your pic.

The inner one with the 10mm bolts should be the what the 1986 and later 930 used on each end. The 993 TT used them too.

1985 and earlier 930's used a thicker CV joint and an axle with slightly longer splines to go through the center of the thicker CV joint. It's believed these were stronger.

Look up the part numbers on them and see what they fit in the pelican catalog or call the parts department.

Thanks JF
I will check out the part numbers, but it looks like they are no good for my 81 930.
