Eddie:

Not the same Bruce, mine is bone stock.

I am tempted by Brian's threads but haven't taken the leap yet (still satisfied with the gateway drug).

Yes, but you really have to be dedicated to the "fifteen" -- cuz the price of these tires can really make you wonder what you're doing...

Boy- Howdy that's the truth. Could've bought 17 rims and tires for what I paid for 15's.

Ouch! I just looked up the rears at Tire Rack and saw one tire offered in 345-35-15. And it wasn't cheap...

By the time you pay shipping, they're close to $600 each!

But, considering I'm driving about 3k miles per year, they should get me 5-yrs...

For some reason Pirelli discontinued the matching 225 fronts. At least they were reasonable at around $200 ea. Looks like the Michelin's are about the only game in town, with a set of tires in the $2400 range.

yes, I was able to get a new set of 225's... but, you're right, it looks like they're not available anymore...

By the time I called Tire Rack they had one left. I must of called a dozen dealers, no one had any. As far as mileage. I'm down to the wear bars (front & back) on my Michelin's after 4500 miles.

What type of Michelin's are they? In doing a search I don't see any 15" available...

Go the Coker Tire site (a truly poorly laid out site by the way), http://store.cokertire.com/search.php?mode=search&by_title=Y&by_shortdescr=Y&by_fulldescr=Y&substring=29/61-15

Type in "michelin tb" 18/60= 215, 23/62=270, 26/61=295, 29/61=335.

Here is a link to a Michelin page I found: GBS Catalog Michelin XAS & TB15 TB5

I run the TB15's.

345-35-15's

I just pulled my 225"s of my front because I went to 17's . Also my gearing is so low 17's will add a little back to my top end. my 225's have maybe 10000 miles on them. there dated 95 but I quess you could call my car a garage queen. someone wants then you pay the shipping and 25 dollars for me to go to lunch and there ,there for the taking..

A good, trusted friend of mine has always raved about the great luck he's had w/ Victoria Tire...and while I've no direct personal experience w/ 'em, I did just check their website (Chrome Rims, Custom Wheels and Tires) and they have P-Zero's in 225-20-15 and 345-35-15...and they're cheap!!!

If I weren't such a nice guy I'd buy up all the 345's and go gouge some Countach owners...and if I weren't such an idiot I'd've never sold you that 930, Bruce! Hope you and my old friend are having fun and that you're taking good care of each other.

Belated Happy 4th.

I called Victoria Tire, they don't stock, nor can they get the 15" Pirelli's.

No worries, I ran across a number of sites showing the tires available. According to Tire Rack Pirelli discontinued the 225's.

Hi guys,: Even I have problem to find tires, On my new DP I have 285 Yokohamas
on 11" rims, ( From the De Tomaso club)in front I found 225 from Nankang? and they works fine. Nankang on a Porsche? -well drive or not. I like them.
Anyone who tried Hoosier street version? (15")

Best regards
