That is my 86 Red Carrera in one of those shots. I have since upgraded to an 87 Red 930. We will be there.

Lou is a class act and his shop is top notch. It is well worth the trip!

well, it always seems to be something. I drove the car last night to make sure it was trip worthy, after 30 minutes of driving I shut the car off and when I tried to restart I got nothing. I thought the battery had completely died but it seemed odd it would drain that bad. I turned the key off and on a couple times and all of a sudden she was back. Cranked right up and was charging. This morning i'm up at the crack of dawn, go fill up the fuel tank at our local E85 carrying U-Gas station and it does it to me again. No crank, no start, no dash warning lights it's as if I didn't even turn the key. Then flipping the key back and forth as is well. I decided a 3 hour trip was not smart. Hope you guys had a good time, weather here has been beautiful (hot as heck)

When you are done with Steve's clunker I'll bring a nice car in for you to take care of.

Where to begin.

Yes, Lou thank you for another great day at your shop! Great timing, as I may not have made it home if you had not been there to rescue me from potential disaster. Hopefully, she will be better than new when I pick her up on Wednesday or so.

As for kilodawg, nice double post, you should really learn how to use the site and your computer for that matter. The other good thing about you bringing your car up to Lou is that it will actually get driven for a change or did you want to borrow my trailer? And as for clunker, if you mean quicker, faster, better handling and better looking, then yes it is a clunker.

Sorry to hijack your post Lou but I could not let him get away with that one.

Picked up my 930 from Lou today. He really saved my rear. He fixed several issues and the car now runs perfect. Like I said earlier, he is a true class act and his knowledge of these cars is amazing. It is great to leave your car in the hands of someone who has so much passion and respect for our cars. I will definately be back!!

I got a ride in one of those a few weeks ago from a co-worker. It revs like a motorcycle and pulls like a muscle car. Very different delivery than my 930. I love my car, but it was like when got to ride a Suzuki Hayabusa after my oil cooled GSXR1100. Time does march on.

Why were the car's on a trailer? Were they coming to have work performed? Just curious as this didn't seem like the kind of gathering that would require that much prep. I'm not knocking anyone I'm just a drive it person.Looks to be some nice car's down there.
