Porsche Crest Texas 888 info??

Can someone identify & perhaps provide some details of this Porsche 993 GT2 turbo?

Did Norwood or ProTechnik have anything to do with this beauty? Its just spectacular IMHO.

This view is probably the only one most drivers in Texas will ever get.

Len

That is Princeton Wong's car if memory serves. He built it and has a thread here about the build.

I know what 888 stands for, not that prosperity crap. He used 888 because 666 got scared and ran away kicking and screaming when that beast rolled up.

I was behind that car on the way from austin to houston a few months ago. I couldent figure out what the hell was goingt on. MY friend asked me if it was faster than mine. From a distance it looked like a regular 993 and I said "bout the same". When I got closer to it a got really confused with the turbo pluming sticking out the bottom but no wing for an inter cooler. I then told my frient that the car is likely stupid fast

Looks like Princeton's car. I haven't heard from him for a couple years.

Princeton was an engineering student when he built the car. He did most of the work himself including welding the exhaust and fabricating the intake, brackets, etc. He used the best parts available and did a really good job on everything considering he was learning as he went. He must be a very quick study because his welds looked very good.

Last I saw the car, it was at Protechnik getting the final Motec tuning done.
