Where to get wheels widened?

I can't find what I want at a price I can afford so am considering widening a set of aluminum rear wheels.
Where can I have this done, what does it cost and what are the caveats?
Thanks!

For Fuchs, I usually hear Harvey Weidmann mentioned as "The Guy".

Could Jeff Alton help?

Not Fuchs. I'm thinking of having a set of modern 1-piece wheels cut and widened in the rear. Fronts are OK.
I've taken enough of Jeff's time trying to buy his beautiful wheels but just cannot swing $3500-$4000 to get what want.

Brian, I still have the set of Techart wheels made by OZ Racing for them. New outer rim halves 1.75 for the front and 3.75" rears. They are 18" the fronts currently are 8.75 and the rears are 11.75". I am just not going to do a 964 widebody project and these need to go to someone special.
The centers are currently polished, but not clear coated. They could be painted. The inners are already painted, the outer rims are clear anodized. I also have several centers available and can build to fit your car. These are 18" wheels. I build special sets for special cars and very special owners. Brian my feelings are starting to get hurt by you not allowing me to build that special set for your car. I have Speedline Alessio, and Techart Daytona wheels that could also be built to fit your car.

Jim nothing would make me happier that a custom set of wheels. Unfortunately I simply cannot afford them as all of my money is tied up in the exhaust system business.
I have a set of 18" Rooks (made by Ronal) that need to be 1" wider in the rear. They are 2 piece wheels which means they must be cut and welded.
They are worth nothing on the used market so I cannot sell them and buy new.

I would give harvey a call and see what he can do!

Cheers
