930 78-3,3 new fuel nozzles ??

hello i have now bought six new fuel nozzles (CIS), I expect that they are okay, or should they be tested first before I install them??

John, I wouldn't bother testing them. The spray pattern should be perfect being that they are brand new. But, if you had the inclination and time, you could install them and check the flow rate as well as spray pattern and adjust the flow rate if they're not matched pretty closely. You can search here and find instructions on how to do that.

If you don't have any reason to think that something is amiss, then just install them and go! (which leads to the question: Why are you replacing all 6 injectors?)

One jet has been dropped as it has received a blow on the edge of the tip, I can see. and they have gone around. 110000 miles so it's probably best with six brand new. And they're hell to change so if they are new, hopefully I get rid of messing more with it.
sounds like a good idea?

You can stick the red hose from a can of brake cleaner in there to see the spray pattern. Should give you an idea of what you have.
