Road trip.
Dear Pelicans,
I just purchased an ’82 911 Targa. You probable now this car since I found it here on Pelican parts. I live in The Netherlands and the car is in Worcester MA. On sept 11 I will fly to the US to pick it up. My plan is to drive in two weeks from Boston to Maine then via Montreal and Toronto to NY city where I will drop of the car and fly home. I have been in touch with the owner a lot and he is not sure if the car is ready for such a big trip. He put about 1000 miles on it since the rebuild. Please let me know if you guys have any suggestions for my trip. maybe you know a good garage along my routing in case I do brake down. If you think I am nuts to do it or nuts if I don’t you can let me know as well. Thanks. |
