Dont forget that today is national drive your Porsche day , so get out there and put some miles on your car or at least drive it to work!!!! Remember to wave at the other owners as you pass .

Been Driving the 930 all week my friend!

LOWFAT 09-17-2010 05:21 AM

For some reason the local PCA chapter sends this out every year but I always thought the date was wrong for the godfather's birthday. Oh well I drove mine to work today anyway and will take the long way home. I think we will go out on Sunday too!!! Now sitting here all I can think about is driving, it's gonna be a long day.

krasuskyp 09-17-2010 05:44 AM

will aim for a Sun whirl too why not 8-)

reading this just made me walk over to the orifice window to get a full on view of that sexxaaay wide arse - BAM!

Like to use mine as a DD but the ramp to my free inside parking is too steep and will bottom out... it's when I get home and week-end.

I'm retiring as soon as my wife quit buying toys :D;):D

I can't drive mine. Still on jackstands unfortunately. Its spent too many of the last 12months on those stands:(

dicklague 09-17-2010 07:28 AM

I will drive an extra day for you!!

slow&rusty 09-17-2010 08:11 AM

Drive it...as in put actual miles on it...oh my the horror!!

LOWFAT 09-17-2010 08:27 AM

Its like a family reunion here when I bring mine to work since we work on mainly old air cooled Porsches so it gets to mingle with its siblings and talk about the homeland. Thankfully I can park inside the shop so it is withen sight all day but it makes the day go by so slow. There's nothing like a full boost 120 mph lunch break though!!! Good times.:D

$hit, it's supposed to rain here all weekend (unusual for the desert clime I'm in). If I drive it, then I can't claim it's "never been in the rain". How many times do you hear that one? Heaven forbid that my car might get a free bath from mother nature.

carslutt 09-17-2010 09:16 AM

nice, a new reason to get some in-n-out for lunch w/ the top off....

full quack 09-17-2010 09:18 AM

I drive mine every day as it is, so all of my miles will take up some of the slack for those that can't.

I will do my part for the greatest "Mark" in auto racing history. But, I don't need a second  ticket this week! (damn CA license plate law) O ya>exhaust issue (lack of having it on) and too many lights.

Good effort - same here! :)

Schwarzeritter 09-17-2010 11:52 AM

Almost everyday is, sometimes I walk. Just for the heck of it.
Depends, but I usually drive a average of 217mi a day, Depends.
I really enjoy the long drives, light traffics fine, not a fan of hardtraffic.

^_^

Tilikum Turbo 09-17-2010 12:19 PM

A day WITHOUT driving my Porsche is like a day without sunshine...luckily also here in So Cal, we have about 310 days of that per year.

"Shamu" was in storage for 7 years, and is now making up for lost time.

:D

Schwarzeritter 09-17-2010 12:40 PM

Tilikum, dude, that is the greatest name! SHAMU...
