Speed Bleeder Clogged?

I just rebuilt and powdercoated my calipers. Went with speed bleeders - 2/caliper = 8 total.

I did the single-handed bleed job and all went well. Except for the 8th and final bleeder. It spit a few shots of fluid out and suddenly quit.

I think it's clogged. Anyone know how to unclog a "check valved speed bleeder?"

Or, any other idea as to how to repair? thanks, shannon

BTW: I ordered these online. Are they typically carried by local auto stores?

Thanks, Shannon

Can you swap it out for a standard bleeder to rule out the speed bleeder?

yes, I did and there's def. something wrong with it... I guess I'll look for one locally or, just get a couple extra for the garage via internet...

They have russel speed bleeders at advance auto parts here in florida or less than most mail order places.

I think you need the ones with 10x1mm threads but not sure if I remember the thread pitch right. You'll figure that out by bringing one with you and matching them up.
