Some new track times

The weather has finally dropped from miserably hot and humid to tolerable so I took a trip out to the drag strip friday night. The car has been running great lately so I made some passes

Best of the night was a 12.12 @ 120.45 mph. My 60' times still need improvement ( 2.08 ) but shes getting there. I can't believe this clutch is still alive. I have to pedal the throttle after each gear shift to let the clutch grab but she ran her heart out and i'm happy.

Nice numbers! You have been running some passes over the past year right? Any idea what clutch your 930 has? I'd be really impressed that it's holding up if it's stock.

MikeD94 - Yes, I run it often. The clutch is not stock (kevlar) but the PP is. I will be upgrading to a KEP soon.

smufbus - an easy start results in horrible 60' times and generally the whole run suffers.

Can you set up your system for launch control?

Low 12s at 120 mph, you car is officially fast and not just quick .

I am certain it is capable of 11s with that trap speed.

I think you would run about 120mph even with a slow start and it's easier for the clutch. But if you're after a good ET no point trying easy launches.

smurf - it looses about 2mph in the 1/8th on a soft launch which makes the 1/4 mph suffer as well. On the 12.12 pass it went 92.60mph in the 1/8th and on to 120.45 / On the next pass I turned the boost up alittle but the launch was slow. It only went 90mph to the 1/8th but due to the higher boost it still managed to go 120.3 mph in the 1/4. Had I launched harder it may have gone 122 or so
