No.
I'm not sure what the point in all that was, the engine is not running properly. Shooting flames and popping like it had a dozen broken head studs is not a good indication of proper valve/piston events.

Well I watched about half of it and got bored. Sounds like crap, and I agree that there's something not right to be belching flames when not even slightly on boost.
And if I hear one more "right on!" I would hunt them down and speak some wisdom to them.

The said they got something cooking, maybe they have some hotdogs or something next to the turbo for cooking...

Something is wrong when the exhaust manifolds start glowing at idle.

In the video the mechanic said that the timing was off on the engine. That would account for the mess we just saw. On the other hand, the timing is NOT off on this car and ... well ... the video says it all .....

Sound like mine...................When my Perma-Tune went south!
You should seriously not be running this car until it is sorted out properly. I see the future of this motor in pieces. I wonder how hot those exhaust valves were getting. Personally, my opinion of a tech worth his "salt" would never start a car up and rev it like that knowing the timing was "off" You should be nervous about just letting it idle with the timing off! |
