Boost,octane and timing= more HP - collectors

It seems to me the basics boil down to just a few dynamics. The higher the octane ( 110 + unleaded ) combined with a hugh unrestrictive delivery system along with a monster turbo system and enlarged modified cylinders to handle the extreme pressure, coupled with the ability to shed all that extra heat, along with a extensively modified lower end and case reinforcements will put these cars in the + Veyron speed and performance class ( 900 + HP with as little as 2500 lbs road weight including some basic creature comforts) . It is all just a matter of building the motor ( and chassis) back to what is was when developed way back then in the 934-935 era. NOW that is why a 930 is so different than most of the collector cars that get relagated to very little use. I really hope these type of folks "get it". Let them eat cake and the 930's rule the sports car performance arena with owners that know these cars best. Amazing stuff from the past that is hard to equal even by todays best efforts of an all around stellar performance sports car. Never mind a 930 is still affordable and in good supply. You can add the goodies later instead of putting aluminum siding on your old house( lifted from an old Harley Davidson commercial). Many kudos to the peoples supercar. Get yours while /when you can and resist the temptation to sell as the values rise.
