Slight Nicks?
Look at this, unbelievable!
This is what gives ebay a bad name. Slight nicks on the impeller! That turbo is junk! This guy is a schmuck! He should be honest and say housing may be serviceable but the impeller, shaft and turbine are trash. This turbo for all intents and purposes is junk. Not to be on my high horse but these sellers really need us to give them hell so that some unsuspecting novice doesnt buy there junk! my .02 cents

yep..its a pos. seller's text description leaves a lot to be desired, BUT pictures are worth 1,000 words.
anyone with 1/2 a brain can look at the photos and see how trashed this unit is. are we supposed to make it our personal responsibility to protect people with LESS THAN 1/2 a brain who shop for used turbos on ebay? caveat emptor

You guys need to lighten up. The auction is BIN for $200. If the compressor blade was pristine, would the price be $200, I think not. I have a nice compressor wheel from a K27 7200 that I would sell cheap if someone from this board bought that unit.

A 3LDZ is just about worthless, let alone $200 for one that has "nicks" in the impellers and a play in the shaft.
By the time you bought that and rebuilt it, you'd be close to a new 7200 with warranty I'd bet. |
