930 rough boost

I was driving my 81 Euro 930 this afternoon and everything was perfect until on one full throttle run when reaching full boost it started to run very roughly like engine coughing, it only does this when reaching full boost, I also hear a somewhat loud humming sound when at idle in the engine bay near the rear seats I dont know if this might be related.

Thanks

the fuel pump is located above the left rear wheel. When was the last time you changed your fuel filter?

JG...had a similar issue last summer. I checked the relays up front and found fuel pump 1 had worked its way out. Plugged it back in and VIOLA! no more problem. I got lucky. Hope that's your issue.
