Suspension Dilemma
My 930 puts out about 500 lbs of torque. The rear has 30mm bars on it and the shocks are bilstein sport shocks...
This car has had a history of breaking the hollow core bars. The car continues to rub the rear wheels because it torques the body down that far when I put the coals to it. What is the real answer on what needs to be done to correct this? Do I add coilovers to the rear to supplement the torsion bars?

I would put in the biggest T Bars you can get in it. 33s or bigger.
Get a shock to match it. Talk to Chuck at Elephant or one of the other good suspension shops. You may try asking this question on the Track forum. Some of those guys know a bit. I think the T Bars and shocks would do the job. The ride will be firm, but still ok on the road. Good luck. If your bilstein sports are stock, they are way to soft if you track the car.

Looks like heavy understeer... I'd like a pic of mine under hard acceleration. My 345's don't rub, so it must not squat that bad.
I've got coilovers and stock tb's in the rear.

Well, im in a straight away here...no steering...but your right car looks deeply upset...
I think the coilovers are the next step...That seems to be the suggestion from alot of people. The coilover conversion kit offered here on Pelican...Has anyone used it?

Is that pic under full load?
If not, I highly recommend to lower the front and lift the rear... Concerning coilovers, I can tell you that it's a huge improvement in driveability and performance. You won't recognize the car after. Much less squating and shaking when load changes What I found in my TB years, that with a full fuel tank it's much better behaviour than empty. If possible put some weight from the back into the front There are several threads about coilovers, just search my name. Much info there

My Dad would always run plenty of fuel for weight when racing his old 74 2.7.
